The sustainable design sprint (CSR)

The sustainable design sprint makes it possible to design products and services by integrating the constraints of limiting resources and using the mindset of design thinking and circular, systemic & brand design. The sustainable designer workshop allows you to practice and then adapt the method to your organization.

You become certified in CSR Strategy design. This workshop is specially useful for people in charge of CSR.

This apprenticeship is one of emlyon's MBA modules.

  • Acquire the components of CSR and sustainable design: systemic, circular, brand design & design thinking
  • Practice the effective user-centered innovation methodology, sustainable design sprint, taking into account the organization’s purpose and CSR strategy

  • Collect information by analyzing the organization and its ecosystem and interviewing users.
  • Identify the converging critical needs of the organization, stakeholders, users

Discover the hybrid program

The sustainable designer is a key role in innovation and transformation when the organization integrates the environmental dimension into its activities. They are the guarantors of the constraints of limiting resources during sustainable design thinking sprints. The sustainable design team aligns and validates with users and an ecosystem a value proposition that respects the constraints of the sustainable economy.

Module 1 - Become aware of CSR sustainable design

Before putting the sustainable design sprint into practice, you acculturate yourself to the dimensions of CSR and responsible transformation. You choose your challenge.

Module 2 - Analyze the ecosystem

You align with your organization’s purpose. You analyze your organization and its ecosystem through its value chain and the life cycle of its products. You summarize and prioritize the organization's issues. You gain empathy with users. You create a persona and analyze their journey as a responsible user. You summarize and prioritize their needs. You compare the needs of the organization and those of the persona to decide on a responsible challenge.

Module 3 - Prototype a responsible solution

Brainstorm solutions to this responsible challenge and select the most relevant idea. Possibly brainstorm solutions by life cycle stage. Create a prototype to test the concept with potential users and the ecosystem. Iterate.​ Adapt your organization to this new value proposition. Incrementally evolve your business model

Certification, e-coaching & the next step of your journey

Successful practice assessments and an online test will allow you to be certified with a digital certificate, which can be integrated into your LinkedIn profile, attesting to your new skills. E-coaching: in the next 3 months you can ask 5 advice by email to your trainer. This certification combined with the Design Thinker and Sprint Facilitator modules will allow you to organize and facilitate this module yourself. Take a look atour site to find out more.
